Patrick McCarthy of Pat Lynch & Associates and former State Republican Party Executive Director is the younger brother of James McCarthy from the law firm Girvin & Ferlazzo. Beside working at Girvin & Ferlazzo (the firm has had its own problems lately with the Attorney General's Office over their School Board Clients and double dipping as School Board employees) James was working for the State Corrections Department. He was signing in and heading off to a golf course according to one newspaper's story. The word is it was a no show job set up for James by younger brother Patrick when Patrick was working for Governor Pataki.
